劉本（Benjamin van Rooij）是阿姆斯特丹大學(xué)法學(xué)院的法律與社會(huì)學(xué)教授，并擔(dān)任該校法律與行為中心主任。此外，他還是加利福尼亞大學(xué)爾灣分校全球法學(xué)教授。他的研究與教學(xué)聚焦于法律和行為之間的互動(dòng)。目前，他的研究重點(diǎn)包括合規(guī)性方面的個(gè)體差異、有害企業(yè)文化以及關(guān)于行為改變的假設(shè)。他過(guò)往的研究工作則以比較的視角審視了中國(guó)的合規(guī)實(shí)踐、行政執(zhí)法及司法可及性問(wèn)題。他也是《監(jiān)管與治理》（Regulation & Governance）期刊的聯(lián)合主編，以及合規(guī)學(xué)者全球網(wǎng)絡(luò)“ComplianceNet”的創(chuàng)始召集人。他目前領(lǐng)導(dǎo)一個(gè)由歐洲研究理事會(huì)（ERC）資助的關(guān)于法律領(lǐng)域行為假設(shè)的研究項(xiàng)目。此外，他還與一個(gè)跨學(xué)科團(tuán)隊(duì)合作，研究組織文化如何影響組織不當(dāng)行為。他是The Behavioral Code（燈塔出版社，2021，中文譯本名為《規(guī)則為什么會(huì)失敗：法律管不住的人類行為暗碼》）的合著者，以及The Cambridge Handbook of Compliance（劍橋大學(xué)出版社，2021）和Measuring Compliance（劍橋大學(xué)出版社，2022）的聯(lián)合主編。
Benjamin van Rooij isProfessor of Law and Society at the Faculty of Law, University ofAmsterdam. He directs the Center for Law and Behavior, also at the Universityof Amsterdam. He is also a Global Professor of Law at the University ofCalifornia, Irvine. He studies and teaches about the interaction betweenlaw and behavior. His current research focuses on individual differences incompliance, toxic corporate culture, and assumptions about behavioral change.His past work looked at compliance, regulatory law enforcement and access tojustice in China in a comparative perspective. He is also co-editor ofRegulation & Governance, and founding convener of ComplianceNet a globalnetwork of compliance scholars. He currently leads an ERC-funded research projectabout behavioral assumptions in the field of law. In addition, he collaborateswith an interdisciplinary team to study how organizational culture affectsorganizational misconduct. He is the co-author of The Behavioral Code(Beacon Press 2021), and co-editor of The Cambridge Handbook ofCompliance (CUP 2021) and Measuring Compliance (CUP2022).
